VORTEX BEVERAGE COOLER FOR AUTOMOTIVE

The Vortex Beverage Cooler exists in two forms:

Beverage cooler in heavy vehicles with pneumatic brakes, which utilize Vortex Tube powered by compressed air (flow rate is less than 5 scfm) taken from the on-board compressor, and;

Beverage cooler in passenger cars, minivans etc., which utilize Vacuum Vortex Tube powered by the differential between atmospheric pressure of the intake air and rarefaction created in the engine cylinders.

At present stage two prototypes of the Vortex Beverage Coolers (VBC) have been developed and tested in the field.

The table summarizes test results as well as compares the VBC performance with conventional Twin-Up automotive beverage cooler powered by stand-alone battery or cigarette lighter.
